Following the government announcement on Saturday October 31st we have to close our churches again during the new ‘lockdown’. This is obviously a great disappointment and a decision which many of us feel unwarranted and unnecessary. You can write to your MP and ask him/her to ask the government to justify the decision or change it.
In the meantime we have to revert to our previous arrangements which are
St Peters Church
Sunday Mass at 10 00 a.m. (This will be recorded and can be accessed at any time an hour or so after the event)
Monday – Saturday Mass at 12 noon
Rosary on Sunday at 5 00 p.m. and 7 00 p.m. on the other days of the week.
The church will be open for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Saturday from 11 00 a.m. – 11 45 a.m. and on First Friday’s (November 6th) from
6 00 p.m. – 8 00 p.m.
We are still allowed to hold funerals in church with a maximum of 30 people attending.
St Philip’s Church will be closed until the end of lockdown except for funerals.
